This beautiful South Australia wedding by BENTINMARCS was one of our real wedding features in Issue 8 of MAGNOLIA ROUGE MAGAZINE. I’m completely smitten with the florals by the amazing POPPIES FLOWERS.
Rey loves to surprise his bride, and his marriage proposal was no exception. In fact, Mel thought his avoidance of the topic was a sign that a proposal was a long way off, and was caught completely off guard when Rey dropped to one knee on a homemade aisle of candles and rose petals. ééòIt was definitely his best and most memorable surprise yet!ééò she says.
The couple opted to wed in an intimate ceremony under a tree in parkland near Adelaide, a city close to both their hearts. ééòWe were still looking at venue options when our photographer, Mark Dohring, suggested Blackwood Park and we immediately fell in love with the place. We’ve always loved discovering hidden gems, from restaurants to trinket shops, so finding a ceremony spot in this secluded, unique place was amazing.ééò
ééòOur wedding felt blessed, perfect and full of love. Somehow every single piece of the puzzle fell into place on the day.
The car ride to the venue was one of our favourite memories. The morning had started out being so hectic, and the hours just seemed to fly by, so being able to have some alone time together before the ceremony allowed us to savour the moment and let it sink in that we were getting married that day!ééò
