With the golden hues of autumn sweeping across the Colorado mountains, Caroline and Austin’s wedding at BEANO’S CABIN was a beautiful blend of timeless elegance and relaxed mountain charm. Photographed by AMANDA BERUBE with planning by EVENTS BY MARGUERITE, the celebration embraced the rugged beauty of Beaver Creek while bringing a sophisticated, Ralph Lauren-inspired sensibility to every detail. From the stunning alpine ceremony to the lively evening celebrations, it was a day that felt both effortlessly stylish and deeply personal.
A Love Story Rooted in the Mountains
Caroline and Austin’s story began during the COVID pandemic, when Austin temporarily returned to Denver from New York City. Their connection was immediate, and just six months later, Caroline made the move to New York to be with him. Their engagement was equally adventurous. Austin proposed during a heli-skiing trip on Utah’s highest mountain, creating a moment Caroline describes as an absolute dream. The surprises continued when their friends appeared in Park City, turning the occasion into an unforgettable weekend of skiing and celebrations. With a shared love of the mountains, choosing Beaver Creek for their wedding felt entirely natural.

The couple wanted their wedding to feel timeless, elegant and chic, but never disconnected from its surroundings.

A Meaningful Setting Above Beaver Creek
Perched high on Beaver Creek Mountain, BEANO’S CABIN offered everything the couple had envisioned for their celebration: breathtaking views, an intimate atmosphere and a wonderful balance of rustic character and understated luxury. For Caroline, the location held particularly special meaning. Having grown up skiing on the mountain, she and Austin had crossed the very grass where they would exchange their vows countless times during the winter months.
The couple wanted their wedding to feel timeless, elegant and chic, but never disconnected from its surroundings. Caroline envisioned something reminiscent of a Ralph Lauren editorial, where classic sophistication meets the effortless beauty of the American West. With the surrounding foliage reaching its autumn peak, the mountain provided a spectacular natural backdrop that needed little embellishment.

Timeless Bridal Fashion and Elegant White Florals
Caroline’s bridal wardrobe perfectly reflected the celebration’s refined aesthetic. Shopping in New York City, she found her wedding dress and after-party look from Australian designer KYHA. She had always imagined wearing a strapless gown with a dropped waist, and the designer’s Lucky dress was the very first she tried on. She immediately knew it was the one.
The floral design by ROSE PETALS was equally considered. A restrained palette of white calla lilies, reflexed roses and orchids brought a beautiful sense of classic elegance to the mountain setting. Rather than competing with the spectacular autumn colours, the florals provided a clean, sophisticated contrast to the golden foliage and rugged landscape.
Even the stationery paid tribute to the location. Designed through MINTED, the invitation suite included a custom map of Beaver Creek highlighting the various wedding venues, offering guests a personal introduction to the mountain that meant so much to the couple.

Surrounded by the most extraordinary autumn foliage, Caroline and Austin were joined by an unexpected guest: a horse named Whiskey, who wandered out from a nearby barn and decided to make an appearance in their portraits.

An Unforgettable First Look
The morning began at the PARK HYATT BEAVER CREEK, where Caroline and her bridesmaids enjoyed getting ready together in the presidential suite, with hair and makeup by DIVINE BEAUTY ARTISTS.
One of the day’s most memorable moments came during the couple’s first look at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the mountains. Surrounded by the most extraordinary autumn foliage, Caroline and Austin were joined by an unexpected guest: a horse named Whiskey, who wandered out from a nearby barn and decided to make an appearance in their portraits. It was one of those wonderfully spontaneous moments that made the day feel even more special.

Personal Vows Beneath the Autumn Trees
The outdoor ceremony took place high on Beaver Creek Mountain, surrounded by sweeping views and the warm colours of the changing season. Caroline’s brother-in-law officiated, adding another meaningful layer to the occasion. The couple exchanged vows they had written themselves, a moment Caroline remembers as her favourite part of the entire celebration.
The ceremony struck a beautiful balance between heartfelt emotion and joyful personality, setting the tone for everything that followed. Afterwards, guests gathered outside for cocktail hour, where acoustic guitar and violin music created a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere against the mountain backdrop.

A Celebration That Lasted All Night
As the evening unfolded, the celebrations moved into BEANO’S CABIN for a reception filled with wonderful food, wine and music. Live entertainment had been one of Austin’s biggest priorities, and the couple worked with Great Family Artists to customise the music throughout the evening. The band brought incredible energy to the reception, keeping guests dancing well into the night. The party eventually continued at Hooked, where a DJ took over for a lively late-night celebration.
For their honeymoon, Caroline and Austin travelled to Hawaii, following in the footsteps of both sets of parents, who had also honeymooned there. Their time was split between 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay in Kauai and Four Seasons Resort Lanai, combining beautiful scenery, relaxation and adventure.
From the deeply personal mountain setting to the sophisticated styling and joyful atmosphere, Caroline and Austin’s wedding was a wonderful reflection of who they are as a couple. Elegant without feeling overly formal, and filled with moments of genuine warmth, it was a celebration that honoured their love of the mountains in the most beautiful way.
