This editorial-styled shoot by San Francisco wedding photographer VIVI LIN PHOTOGRAPHY is romance personified! Captured at KIMBERLY CREST HOUSE AND GARDENS in Redlands, California, this well-preserved French chateau-style home was built in 1897 and brings together European architecture with picturesque Southern California scenery. The planner, BLUSH EVENTS, was inspired by the castle-like architecture that had a slight tint of pastel blue. In harmony with the venue, they chose to use a palette of pastel blues and pinks – from the ethereal blue tulle dress to the regal floral elements and decorations. The setting evokes a sense of modern romance in a historical backdrop, creating a unique contrast that blends beautifully together in a wedding perfect for the ice queen herself.

Florist THE FLORACHIC chose to incorporate the anemone, also known as windflowers, into the bouquet and flatlay for their delicate appearance and bittersweet underlying meaning. Windflowers symbolize anticipation, hope, and unrequited love. For the centerpieces and venue decorations, they used Roman Doric columns and marble-textured vases to match the castle's architectural elements. A beautifully rendered artistic sketch featuring the Kimberly Crest House was printed on both the vow books and invitations created by INKBERRY CALLIGRAPHY. In combination with the coordinating colour palette, this sketch of the Kimberly Crest House creates a feeling of love and anticipation on the timeless invitation and vow cards.

For the bridal look, LYNN MAKEUP designed a minimalist low braided bun that is both sleek yet romantic. The addition of a floral-inspired hair accessory and earrings pairs elegantly with the white lace details of the blue tulle dress. The make-up look emphasized a clean and natural style to highlight the bride’s stunning blue eyes.

The photographer, VIVI LIN PHOTOGRAPHY, captured the bride with her icy blue eyes and pastel blue wedding dress under the gentle rays of sunlight. The bride may appear as cold as the ice princess herself, but deep down, she longs to find her true love and dreams of having an intimate yet intricate wedding in her castle that appears straight out of a fairytale. On this special day, the videographer, WILSON ZHANG STUDIO, excellently captures the beauty of the bride dancing under the sun. Like Elsa, she may sometimes appear cold and difficult to approach, but at the right times, in front of those she loves, she will show her lighthearted and playful side. In just a mere 30 seconds, this video brings the audience into a world full of magic and unsettled curiosity about her.
