Xijia and Bin were high school classmates who were reunited in the bay area; they both work for Pinterest, and I think it's clear to say that their wedding photos - beautifully captured by STELLA YANG PHOTOGRAPHY - will make it onto a lot of brides’ wedding planning boards! Starting with the idea of "something blue" as their over-arching theme, they then selected each and every detail for their big day with care and attention, creating a beautiful wedding and reception. They designed their own custom logo which was used on all of their paper goods to ensure a consistent visual theme throughout the celebration.

Stella tells us, "Not only was this wedding a feast for the eyes, but it was such an honour to witness. Bin clearly adores Xijia and he gave the most moving speech at their reception. More than a few eyes were misty, including mine! Xijia has a smile that makes everyone around her smile, too. What fun it was to see that beautiful smile all day long! Photographing a wedding day that is so filled with love is by far one of the best parts of being a wedding photographer."

Xijia and Bin were married at the beautiful historic villa of the MONTALVO ARTS CENTER in Saratoga, California. The lush green surroundings and tree-lined pathways were perfectly complemented by the colour palette of soft blues, greys, and whites. The blooming vines climbing the villa's pillars were a match made in heaven with the bouquets by MICHELLE LYWOOD, with their white blooms and abundant greenery!
