Lani & Jeremy hoped to create a unique wedding day experience for their guests. With a guest list of 30 of their closest friends and family, they prioritised creating an intimate and celebratory atmosphere that would make their guests feel like they'd stepped into a dream from the moment they arrived at LAKEWOLD GARDENS. As guests were escorted through the property's magnificent gardens on pathways surrounded by towering trees and beautiful blooms, they walked through a canopy of Hawthorn trees and were welcomed by the sight of a whimsical ceremony. Set at the front of the Wagner House, Lani & Jeremy wanted their ceremony to highlight the beautiful, European-inspired architecture whilst feeling both grand and quaint all at once. An aisle lined with garden-inspired floral arrangements led to a robust installation set at the doors of the building.

Captured by Seattle wedding photographer JANET LIN, Lani & Jeremy wanted their wedding day to have a fine-art style with refined and intentional details. When creating unique design elements, planner EVENTS BY GENEVIEVE was inspired by the mural in the foyer of the Wagnar House, a detail that Lani loved when she first toured the venue. From the wedding day stationery, to the hand-painted cake, to the escort display, the mural was incorporated throughout the design process to create cohesiveness and tell a complete story.

After the ceremony guests once again meandered through the paths of the property to the English Garden where they were met with cocktails and small bites, serenaded by the string quartet with sweeping views of the lake in the background. An intimate and lively plated dinner was set at one long table under swooping wisteria vines on the patio of the Wagnar House.

Lani wore an absolutely beautiful STESHA HO gown and WEDDING HAIR BY RHIANNA did a loose romantic wave in her hair to complement the elegant makeup by BEAUTY BY PEARL.

A huge thank you to Seattle wedding photographer JANET LIN for sharing this beautiful wedding with us. Janet is a fine-art wedding photographer based in Seattle, Washington and serving destinations worldwide. She grew up in the dark room of her father's photography studio, watching people's memories come to life in images through a seemingly magical process. With a passion for loving people, learning their stories, and documenting human connection, the decision to pursue photography was an easy one. Janet's goal is to capture the true essence and spirit of a moment, creating timeless wedding images that will serve as cherished artefacts of your marriage. On a wedding day she strives to balance a quiet documentary approach with an artistic and editorial perspective. You can see more of her work in her portfolio here.
