Tatum and Fletcher may be childhood sweethearts, but it was almost ten years from their first date that Fletcher knelt down among the rock pools on Moreton Island and asked Tatum to be his bride. And marry him she did, in a dreamy lace Pallas Couture dress. While it rained all day, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the couple or their guests, who celebrated long into the night, and saw them off in a shower of sparklers and good wishes.
Tatum said; ééòAlways remember what the day is really about. I was marrying my soulmate and best friend, and that was what was most important.“
It absolutely poured on our wedding day. It made the atmosphere really intimate, intense and wild-spirited. For the ceremony, we had to gather in a stone archway that had been hand built by the owners of Deux Belettes, with a giant chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The wind whipped through ééò it was beautiful! After the ceremony the rain eased and an incredible mist settled over the valley. It was pure magic.
I love very classic looks. Clean lines, French influences. I adore flowers and wanted a ton of them! With the incredible Deux Belettes as our backdrop, we didn’t want to tamper with it too much, but included lots of beautiful nude and blush tones in the floral arrangements, candlelight, twinkling chandeliers and stationery.“
