It was a love of art brought Lucinda and Simon together. Despite pursuing different degrees at university, they regularly bumped into one another at exhibition openings or film screenings, and soon their relationship went from abstract to Romantic. Seven years later, they tied the knot with a wedding that was as beautiful as it was personal and had CORALEE STONE on hand to capture it. Wearing a delicate French lace COLLETTE DINNAGAN gown, Lucinda reflected the same timeless, elegant and romantic aesthetic as their flowers and d cor, in soft shades of nudes, pastels and a dash of plum.
ééòBeing a designer and having a creative-minded/handyman fianc , Simon and I managed to do almost everything ourselves, which really gave that personal touch to the day. I designed our letterpress invites using simple, elegant embellishments and our own wax seal to make our guests feel special (it worked – everyone was thrilled!). We had loads of fun designing personalised tea towels and notes for our guests, making signs and garlands, crafting bunting and confetti cones, and even making our wedding cake. Our amazing friends and family were also involved in every part of the day, which just made it feel all the more personal. It would not have been the same without all of the lovely people that pulled it together.ééò
