Stunning & romantic Tuscan Engagement Inspiration

It’s stating the obvious to say that as a photographer – or any wedding vendor for that matter – when you travel to Italy you want to do whatever you can to connect with local vendors and put together a shoot. I mean you simply don’t get the beautiful architecture and character that this region has in many other places. And let’s not even get started on their perfect light! The very talented SOPHIE EPTON PHOTOGRAPHY connected with the equally lovely Federica from HONEY & CINNAMON, and together they came up with this dreamy beauty of a shoot.

Federica tells us; “What’s more romantic than a man in love asking his sweetheart to marry him in one of the most beautiful places in Tuscany? When searching for the perfect environment, we envisioned La Foce as the ideal scenario for such an intimate and special event, with its stunning Italian Garden, the flowers and greenery that embellish it and the marvellous view of the Tuscan hills as a backdrop.

The idea we wanted to give was the one of an extremely elegant and original engagement. Instead of asking for marriage on bent knee, the proposal was made more unique by our betrothed reading a love letter to his amour professing his undying devotion and proposal of life together. This was followed by an intimate toast and celebration under the wisteria-covered gazebo and a joy-filled photo session to capture the love and excitement of this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

For such a special occasion, we wanted to create inspiration that was both refined yet whimsical, starting from the couples’ attire, kindly lent by ANNA FUCA ATELIER with her amazing pink tulle dress, and by OTTO MARCHESI SARTORIA, who designed a very elegant grey suit for our male model. THE LITTLE NORTH SEA STUDIO created the most exquisite love letters for this special day, and the future groom proposed with a one-of-a-kind bejewelled ring from SUSIE SALTZMAN. Hair was embellished with sweet accessories created by ORCHIDÉE DE SOIE and an exquisite pale pink bouquet by ISA’ EVENTS was the perfect finishing touch (composed of light greenery, roses, lisianthus, hellebore, astilbe, polianta roses and wild chervil.) We hope this magical shoot set among the rolling hills of Tuscany inspires couples to do whatever they desire when taking such a big leap together; it doesn’t always have to be traditional, just authentic and from the heart.”
