Never let it be said that you can’t plan a beautiful wedding in a month! When Andrea and John reached out to MSTARR DESIGN in June of last year with the intention of turning a vacation in Maine into their wedding celebration, it was just a month short of said vacation.
Emily from MSTARR DESIGN tells us, “Andrea & John had rented an incredible private residence {really a compound} on Lake Sebago for a family vacation and thought there was no better time to get married given the rare opportunity of having so many close family and friends together in one place. Andrea had a few must-haves for the day but given the timing, really gave us free reign to run with the design and details. We had a clear vision of a celebration filled with organic elegance and delicious food in a laid-back setting. We somehow convinced {ok begged} a team of really talented vendors to come on board and on a hot and humid july afternoon, managed to collectively produce a wedding that exceeded even our own expectations!”
There are so many elements about this wedding that we love, starting with the al fresco dinner under bistro lights – we can’t think of a nicer and more welcoming way for your favourite people to celebrate your union. Custom illustrations and calligraphy from Jenny Sanders of GRACELINE ART, the morning-of scones {fresh baked of course} and local jam hand-delivered to guests were just some of the other special touches that Emily and her team put together.
To top it off it was all captured beautifully by CORINNE KROGH PHOTOGRAPHY who flew in from Oregon for the occasion.
