I don’t know about you but I’m mighty happy it’s the weekend! Just one of those weeks! Thankfully we have exceptional prettiness on our screens to brighten things up today! Combining classic romance with a natural outdoor elegance, this concept by KEESTONE EVENTS was beautifully captured by BEN Q PHOTOGRAPHY and was inspired in part by the venue – the rustic yet elegant STONE CREST in Texas. Sarah from KEESTONE EVENTS explains, “It’s aptly named with its raw, gravelly pathways and a majestic stone wall to complete. THE PAPER ROMANTICS continued in the theme by bringing in stationery with marbling on the textured paper and envelopes while SHE IN THE MAKING, handwrote each name on rock slabs in lieu of your traditional place cards. To balance out the rock textures, we incorporated mid century styled chairs, copper and concrete candle holders, along with copper details in the flatware and floral container to bring a pop of colour. To bring all of this together, we went with romantic florals with soft peach and ivory tones. It was important that we showcase the unique rock surfaces at the venue, but still maintain the soft, organic look that we all enjoy. Aside from the flowers – which were by HOLLY VILES DESIGN – we used a flowy table linen, moody blue napkins and ribbon to tie it in. We also wanted to highlight two looks for this bridal editorial. WATTERS provided a beautiful gown with intricate vintage lace that we paired with a veil. The goal was to show fluidity, and to bring a romantic and ethereal vibe. The second wedding dress they provided has such a full and feathery skirt that it called for soft, loose curls cascading down to match the ribbons in the bouquet. Both looks were paired with two different sets of jewellery.
