CALLIE HOBBS PHOTOGRAPHY hit the nail on the head when she was aiming for an elegant yet whimsical look for this bridal. The traditional ballgown style dress is all class with a strong element of fun! Callie tells us, ééòI wanted everything to look in a way to inspire the classic bride. There’s no denying the beauty that comes from the traditional ball gown wedding dress. I love the way it flows and shows off the waistline. Particularly with this dress, I love the lace bodice and the v-shaped back, not to mention the belt that adds a hint of elegance. To add to this look we wanted to go with a side bun and a braid, because who doesn’t love braids!? This is a hairstyle that will last all day. We wanted glamourous, but not perfect, hence the looseness of the up-do. Then for the makeup we went with a neutral palette to ensure a timeless look. Another beautiful addition to the shoot was the way the sunlight shone on the bride, that’s what made it feel so whimsical to me! The bouquet designed for this shoot is one of my favoritesééò I love the bright, airy colors of the flowers! The paper goods created by WILDFIELD PAPER CO. is an added bonus. The talent that goes into what she creates is just amazing! I also love the ribbon that ties the paper goods together to make an original, creative statement. I enjoyed every second of this shoot! I really hope that is can inspire those looking for ideas for an upcoming wedding.ééò
