Today we interrupt our regular scheduled neutral program with this injection of vibrant, happy colour! Beautifully captured by Southern California wedding photographer CAVIN ELIZABETH PHOTOGRAPHY, together with stylist DETAILED TOUCH EVENTS they were inspired by the vibrancy of colour. Stylist Hailey tells us "So many times I find as a wedding planner that my brides love colour in their day-to-day lives, yet are so wary about incorporating it into their wedding! I also come across many brides who love the idea of an outdoor, ranch-setting for their wedding, yet they want the formal elegance of a chic celebration. I merged these two ideas to create magic at the gorgeous venue of WHISPERING ROSE RANCH in Solvang, California.
Florist EMILY REYNOLDS DESIGN infused a variety of pink and coral florals that set the tone for the colour palette. I added in a splash of blue to create a bold dimension for the table scape setting provided by CASA DE PERRIN. LA TAVOLA grounded the tabletop with a linen table drape and we finished the look off with a rustic yet sophisticated linen round back chair. SOPHIA LOVES LETTERS created beautiful watercolour stationery that complimented the playfulness that we were creating with all of the colour.
Since this shoot was all about the colourful florals, I chose a stunning MARCHESA dress from KINSLEY JAMES COUTURE bridal salon that was adorned with delicate floral petals. The feathers at the bottom of skirt and train were just an extra added bonus for dimension and spunk. To continue with the sophisticated, chic bridal attire, I chose coral toned, peep-toed CHRISITAN LOUBOUTIN heels. I can’t wait to share this styled shoot with my future brides to show them that strong colours and rustic settings can still be timeless, classic, upscale and beautiful!"
