I know we’re not even a quarter through the year but I think this wedding is already a front runner for the year end favourites! I love everything about this beautiful backyard celebration by Taylor Lord as featured in Magnolia Rouge Magazine.
Loving Austin, Texas as they do, Alyson and Braden wanted their guests to experience the real beauty of it, in all its lush green surroundings. Inspired by organic, rustic and simple details they set about creating a laid-back vibe for their backyard BBQ celebration, with a party that would be talked about for years to come.
ééòI wanted all whites and greens. I love neutrals and really couldn’t make up my mind on a color so white just felt right. My Dad grows spanish moss in California so I wanted to make sure that was incorporated and I think that just made it extra special. Our florists did an amazing job using it on the arch and the railings.
I went and tried on more traditional wedding dresses and really didn’t find anything I loved. I knew I wanted to talk to Stone Cold Fox about making my dress just because I love their vibe and pretty much die over everything they make. When I met with them and came up with a plan it just kind of all came together. Since we live in Texas and they are in California, I only got to try it on twice when I was home visiting. We tweaked a few things and then it was perfect. I was so comfortable and it just felt like me.ééò
