I did a merry little dance when this gem of a shoot by CHARLA STOREY hit my inbox earlier this year and of course just had to feature it in MAGNOLIA ROUGE MAGAZINE. It’s abundant in ornate details, soft touches paired with bold jewel tones and lush, textured florals. With styling by GRIT & GOLD and stunning florals by SWEET MAGNOLIA it has an old world feel set in the midst of European gardens. The starting point was a beautiful tablescape complete with raw materials such as wood, muslin and terracotta accents. Incorporated into this were family style foods, cheeses, and wine. All design elements such as the cake setup are in unison with the terrain of the rugged landscape. Extraordinary details also include beautiful hand-made invitations, a wood cheeseboard scripted menu and of course how can you miss Mimi, the sweetest little donkey!
