Rustic Mediterranean Wedding Inspiration

There is so much to love in this beautiful shoot from ANNELI MARINOVICHééò from the stunning SANTOS COSTURA gown to the gorgeous florals by PEPE VON STRUDEL. Anneli had long had a dream to shoot a Spanish bridal story and teamed up with Barcelona based Esther from Belle & Chic to make it a reality! Inspired by the beautiful blush wedding gowns, they created a rustic Mediterranean love story, set against the backdrop of the Spanish countryside. Castell d’Emporda is a stunning wedding venue in La Bisbal, Girona and it made the perfect setting for an intimate Spanish wedding celebration.

Anneli says, ééòOur bride and groom, Barbara & Adrien looked stunning. Barbara had two looks – a romantic loose up do for the wedding ceremony with Adrien wearing a bow tie and then a more glamorous look for the evening reception, with gorgeous loose curls for Barbara and a skinny black tie for Adrien. With beautiful blush heels for her first look and golden strappy sandals for the evening look our bride was in shoe heaven!

Laura & Esther styled a rustic wooden sweetheart table beneath the branches of an olive tree and with the sun setting over Castell d’Emporda in the background it was a very romantic setting. Vintage crockery with floral detail and dark pink napkins, contrasted beautifully with rustic brassware, which Laura from Fueron Felices found at a vintage market in Barcelona. Locally sourced Chocolate Amatller and Spanish Rose Cava rounded off the table, with a stunning floral centrepiece by Pepe von Strudel brimming with olive branches, roses, berries and tulips. Instead of chairs, we used a wooden bench for our bride & groom, decorated with olive branches and sweet “Novio” and “Novia” (Mr & Mrs) paper signs.ééò
