Rustic and cosy white winter wedding

I really can't think of a more romantic time of year to get married than at Christmas! Flickering candlelight, a toasty fire, photos in the snow, and cosy blankets keeping everyone warm! Sounds perfect to me! ERIKA BROWN PHOTOGRAPHY captured Alise & Eric's winter celebration at TERRAIN in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.

The groom tells us, "TERRAIN'S has always been a favourite place of Alise's, then she introduced me to it and it was a place we loved to get away for the afternoon to walk around and admire the grounds and get lunch or dinner… it embodied our idea of rustic beauty… you can't help but admire the creativity and beauty of the place. We were inspired by winter itself. We wanted to embrace the word "cozy". Firepits, lots of candles, a hot chocolate bar and a room dripping with winter greens were a few things we used to capture that feel of a cozy, romantic intimate setting. The room was just breathtaking that Alise actually cried when she first saw it. It was rustic and elegant yet simple all at once.

Alise wore a gown designed by HAILEY PAIGE. After extensive research before shopping she knew that it was exactly her style… there was 3 things she needed her dress to include: ballgown skirt, open back and sweetheart neckline and after only trying on two dresses it was clear this "rocker/ballerina" dress, as described by the designer, fit Alise perfectly.
