Teaming up photographer Hawaii wedding photographer JEANNEMARIE PHOTO teamed up with BRITT JONES CO. to create this Colourful Spring Inspiration in a French Garden. Captured at The WILLIAM AIKEN HOUSE in Charleston, South Carolina, their vision was to create a dreamy and romantic shoot with pops of colour to pay homage to the French Quarter. Nestled in the historic district of Charleston, the WILLIAM AIKEN HOUSE is literally in the hustle and bustle of it all yet, when you go beyond the gates, you’re transported back in time and leave the outside world behind you.
JeanneMarie tells us, "I loved the all the French inspired rooms along with the outdoor garden areas as it made the perfect setting. Kate from KATE ASIRE FLOWERS brought all the textures together in her creations. Striving for a dreamy yet, colourful palette of pinks, our focus was to use more dainty, feminine blooms like Sweet pea, Hellebore and, garden roses. Featuring three dresses from DELANA MUSE and ANNE BARGE, I absolutely loved all three and wanted to feature them all. They all had a wonderful flow to them and romance."
The table top was curated to offer a nod to the spring season while keeping the French garden wedding feel throughout the design. Mixing floral textures, fresh fruits and veggies, it also featured little ceramic birds to evoke the spring season and its lively energy. Britt says, "I would recommend to never be afraid of colour or patterns. Although it can feel scary to get out of your comfort zone, that exact thing you are uncomfortable could be just the ingredient to take the design to the next level"
