Proving that sometimes you have to take a risk to get the reward, Utah wedding photographer TYLER RYE ventured out to White Sands National Monument for this magical elopement shoot. Tyler tells us, "When we arrived, the weather was calm but we could see a large storm rolling in. So, we quickly left the car and headed out onto the dunes hoping to beat the storm. We were able to get a few shots in before the storm hit us but we quickly found ourselves in the middle of a massive Sand storm. It felt like we were getting sand blasted and honestly it was a little painful being out there! I could barely see my clients through my view finder as we struggled to get shots during the storm. It was so bad that I worried I wouldn’t get any usable images! However, after about 45 minutes of stinging sand the storm passed and we were left with a stunning sunset! I could finally see my camera and the results of shooting in the storm left us breathless! I’m so grateful we didn’t run for cover because some of these Images are the best I have produced during my career!
