Many couples dream of getting married in a tropical paradise, but for Mike & Leona, getting married in Phuket was a practical decision as well. With a large number of family in Hong Kong, it meant a relatively short journey for many of their guests, and it didn’t hurt that it is also Mike’s favourite place! Set amid coconut palms and the gently rolling slopes of the island’s west coast, The Surin Phuket offered the couple and their guests a tranquil environment in which to enjoy a few peaceful days with their closest family and friends. They chose a subtle tropical theme for their reception, held right on the beach front under string lights and swaying palm trees. The bride wore a stunning Amsale gown, with the bridesmaids in complementary pale champagne J.Crew dresses.
