With everything going on in the world currently, there's something very heart-warming seeing people celebrate an anniversary with such gusto. Challenging times strip life back to what's really important and it's relationships, connections and people which are at the heart of life. Choosing to celebrate their 5-year anniversary in a show-stopping way, this couple had ZHENYA SWAN document their beautiful and fun soiree in Tuscany.
Stasya, event stylist with MRS. MAXIM WED BUREAU tells us, "Tuscany, Italy and a hot summer already sound beautiful. But it was important to make this event unique and personal, to reflect the tastes and character of our couple - playing with some current trends and putting our own twist on them. We had Ideas about the bright Tuscan sun and the Italian summer heat which led us to play around with a refreshing theme for both the decor, and also the itinerary. The vibrant colours of citrus fruits combined seemed like an ideal choice.
Our next step was to implement the ideas and the concept into the event. For me, this was such a fun creative challenge. We designed a welcome dinner with a white dress code and accents of greens and yellows throughout the decor and flowers, a scattering of citrus on the tables, and delicious real Italian pasta. For the main event we had an explosion of emotions at a vow exchange ceremony, some bright accents in the florals, vibrant summery stationery, plenty of candlelight and a table overflowing with flowers. On the third and final day we put on a relaxed and slightly retro pool party with aperol spritzers for all the guests to enjoy.
