Inspired by the rolling hills and lush vineyards of Tuscany in early October, this “Summer in Tuscany” design captured by AMY CAROLINE PHOTOGRAPHY, embodies the transition of crisp greens to the warm yellows and peaches of early autumn. Drawing on Italy’s deep agricultural roots, the Olive Grove at the CASA BLANCA INTERLAKEN provided the perfect setting for an intimate dinner celebration.
The design vision by STYLED BY LINDS, emphasized a minimal yet refreshing aesthetic that highlighted the venue’s natural beauty. For the ceremony, they enhanced the landscape with a round floral installation by AMY WEST FLORAL featuring rich, organic textures in a warm autumnal palette. This striking display blended seamlessly into the surroundings, creating a timeless backdrop for the couple’s vows.
PAPIER HANDMADE created a stunning stationery suite in an old-world style with hand-written calligraphy flourishes and vintage illustrations in gold and green.

THE TABLES
To honor the natural textures of the region, the serpentine tables featured soft neutrals and rich greens with intentional edible accents woven throughout. Whole artichokes provided structure to the reception florals, while garlic scapes and grapevines added movement and depth alongside delicate blossoms. Neutral floral table linens balanced the arrangement, complementing the natural stoneware and Tuscan-inspired tablescape.
Guests were welcomed to the reception with an Aperol Spritz cart and small bites before enjoying a family-style dinner beneath the stars. The evening concluded with a romantic cake-cutting moment, featuring a three-tiered cake adorned in an “Old World Italian” design that reflected the venue’s architectural charm.
THE VENUE
Casa Blanca Interlaken is a private estate which contributes qualities of exclusivity and refinement to each event. The venues’ southern European inspired grounds and Spanish Neo-Colonial architecture offer a timeless setting. Located on approximately 40 acres in the heart of Santa Cruz County, each event space is surrounded by olive trees and adorned with roses. At an elevation of 550 ft., the estate overlooks the Pajaro valley and the Monterey Bay to the south, and the California Coastal Redwood covered Santa Cruz Mountains to the east.
Casa Blanca Interlaken’s meandering gardens are characterized by familiar aromas intended to evoke an olfactory journey. The sweet and citrus-like scent of white carpet roses fills the air surrounding the ceremony site, and the delicateness of orange blossoms is delightful to the senses. Subtle fragrances of lavender and rosemary similarly invoke the gustatory experience of celebratory meals yet to come. With the turn of each corner, and the change of each season, Casa Blanca Interlaken is a beautiful setting for any celebration.
