At the 2024 edition of JÉRÉMIE HKB’S Workshop for wedding photographers, co-organizer and assistant photographer MARION PINEL brought her artistic eye and creative vision to life through stunning project design. The workshop—held at the beautiful CHÂTEAU MARTINAY—centered around two main themes: a vibrant welcome dinner and an elegant wedding day, offering photographers an inspiring range of styles and color palettes. For the welcome dinner, MARION’S imagery highlighted a lively scene with a palette of sunny yellows and touches of blue, evoking the warmth and brightness of the South of France. The wedding day, by contrast, embraced a softer palette—white, beige, apricot, and pink—adding sophistication and romance to the ambiance. Through floral-patterned linens from APPOLONIA LINEN Marion beautifully captured the workshop’s theme of timeless elegance.
The color choices leaned towards soft tones: white, beige, apricot, with a touch of pink, creating an ambiance that was both elegant and sophisticated.
The workshop’s highlights included a beautifully designed ceremony and table settings, each detail crafted for an unforgettable visual experience. MARION’S keen eye captured the essence of design and decoration, emphasizing the harmony between textured linens, floral compositions, and carefully selected accents. She recommends blending decorative and floral elements thoughtfully to create a cohesive and elegant look—an approach that ensures each detail enhances the overall atmosphere with both beauty and balance.
the venue
CHÂTEAU MARTINAY, nestled in 35 hectares of natural beauty in Provence, served as a majestic backdrop for this workshop. Built in 1763, this elegant estate captures the essence of Provençal living with its historic charm and architectural grandeur, ideal for unforgettable weddings. Situated near the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux, the château feels like a hidden jewel, offering a warm family-home atmosphere.
THE FLOWERS & DECOR
In collaboration with CLAIRE YOSSMAN and LA BLONDE ET LE BARBU, MARION helped achieve a seamless balance between décor and floral arrangements, blending sophistication with a natural touch. For the welcome dinner, two unique scenes were crafted: an inviting bar and a vibrant, convivial table setup. On the wedding day, the design reached new heights, with a grand ceremony along the Château’s main aisle, a majestic reception table, and a poetic décor centered around a grand piano. MARION’S photography beautifully and precisely captures every elegant detail of these settings.
