The vision for this downtown Denver engagement shoot was for a classic and elegant vibe showcased with film photography. The shoot took place under the majestic portico of 16 Ionic neoclassical columns at the Byron White Courthouse. For the first look (in the white sequin dress), Denver Wedding Photographer MARY ANN CRADDOCK specifically chose a black and white film stock to produce a nostalgic and cozy vibe. With a garden style hand-tie bouquet and embroidered tulle gown, the second look was reminiscent of a charming ballet story.
Catie and Liam are both professional dancers with the Colorado ballet. These two love a good mixture of romance and celebration. Liam proposed to Catie on their trip to Paris last summer, taking her to a beautiful park and proposing in a temple over looking the city. For the engagement shoot Catie wore a white sequin dress from BALTIC BORN that had beautiful gathered shoulders and a pattern similar to an English garden gate. Catie's embroidered tulle dress, from NEEDLE AND THREAD, flowed gracefully around her body with every step she took. Liam wore a sharp black suit and classic black tie.
