Surrounded by high, snow-covered mountain peaks, this refined and elegant shoot by Parisian wedding photographer SANDRINE BOYER-ENGEL sets up the perfect scene for a winter wonderland wedding. Planned by Anne-Gael from LES PHOTOPHORES who specialises in mountain weddings, they showcased the landscape with a tablescape set directly into the snow, integrating the wild nature surrounding them with an elegant tone.
Stylist QUENTIN FAVRE combined the gold and mat patina of the silverware and the chandeliers with classic romantic ivory plates and ancient icy crystal glasses borrowed from the bride’s grandmother. Beeswax candles and bowls of blueberries remind us the delicate fruits of the mountain for a tasty delicacy touch.
The bridal bouquet is a natural free form design that gives a romantic feel and includes nude anemones, mauve roses, mountain thistles, bluish green eucalyptus, creamy ranunculus, ivy and more. All the stationery was created by FREDERIQUE BOUTTÉ who wanted a super white textured paper for the freshness evoking the snow. Mountain flowers and fruits adorn the menus and invitations. The calligraphy is deliberately subtle and elegant whist the envelope surprises us by the charming and tasteful inside liner. Christine from AU BOUDOIR DU MARIAGE selected an amazing blush embroidered dress by designer GABBIANO.
A big thank you to Parisian wedding photographer SANDRINE BOYER-ENGEL for sharing this beautiful wedding inspiration with us. Sandrine, a fine-art photographer (and herself the heroine of a Franco-American love story), translates emotion using medium format film, creating light-infused images with subtle, velvety colours and a thousand and one intensely evocative details. From vast landscapes to the infinitely small, from the spectacular to the joyful poetry of day-to-day existence, Sandrine has the rare ability to capture transitions of emotion, and translate the seen and unseen into the universal language of photography. While clients relax, soothed by her talent for creating a stress-free environment, Sandrine sublimates the aesthetic essence of her subjects, revealing unsuspected beauty in both intimate portraits and large events.
