Parker and Caroline met while studying abroad in England. Parker's family is from Aiken, SC, so this is what led to selecting THE WILLCOX as their event venue. They had originally planned to marry in the spring of 2020, but like many other couples, their wedding was pushed back to spring of 2021. They opted for a very elegant micro wedding for 10 people and had Charleston wedding photographer AVA MOORE there to capture their day. It was the perfect opportunity to use the family china so the dinner table was a vision of refined elegance, further enhanced by the use of monogrammed napkins and gorgeous floral centerpieces by BY DESIGN. After the first dance and cocktail hour, Caroline changed into a stunning silk gown which gave the couple another sweet first look opportunity. The sun set at the perfect time for a garden stroll and a glass of celebratory champagne before heading back inside for their seated family dinner. It was a perfect intimate wedding day!
Thank you to Charleston wedding photographer AVA MOORE for sharing this beautiful wedding with us today! Her passion is capturing how you FEEL on your wedding day… and of course she does that in an artistic way and in beautiful light. "With my camera, I will soak up all the excitement, love, and joy that you express toward each other on your wedding day. This is also true of other precious moments that you spend with your family and friends. I document, what I think is, your heritage. Photographs are essentially heirlooms!"
