We all know about the magical light in California right? And then there's the gorgeous Tuscan countryside so many couples pine after for their wedding day. Well what if you could combine both into one? That's what Southern California wedding venue PROVIDENCE PLATEAU offers. To showcase the beautiful venue, wedding planner & stylist ALY ANN EVENTS created this Italian inspired shoot which was beautifully captured by Magnolia Rouge favourite Dallas wedding photographer CHARLA STOREY.
Aly tells us, "When PROVIDENCE PLATEAU first popped up on my Instagram feed, I was immediately attracted to its European charm. Nestled in the hills of Cresta, California, it was designed specifically for intimate and romantic weddings; which was the primary reason why I chose to partner with Sarah of MULBERRY & MOSS almost immediately. Her floral design attracts the modern romantic. She appreciates tradition, but does a beautiful job incorporating her own style to create fresh and forward thinking designs. After our initial site tour at the estate, Sarah and I were challenged with selecting a colour story that embraced the natural beauty of the venue. We drew our original inspiration from the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy. The stunning light and warm tones had us dreaming of Fall. We thought a golden yellow would tie the garden florals with the Southern California landscape effortlessly. It was magical!
Dominique, the owner of DOMINIQUE ALBA, executed this fine art aesthetic beautifully with delicate-pressed paper as the foundation of her stationery suite and hand torn menus. The bride wore a blush pair of BELLA BELLE bridal shoes from the newly released Liv Hart collection and a sexy Calla Blancha gown from MON AMIE BRIDAL. Likewise, the groom was well manicured in a fitted tux from Friars Tux, complimenting the modern style of the estate. In the main dining room, Stevi of HEY THERE, CUPCAKE, designed the most beautiful and delicious flat lay of petite desserts that we could hardly keep our hands off of. This display was complemented by a stunning three-tiered fondant cake that photographed beautifully against the lush vegetation throughout the property. Although all of the details in this shoot were beautifully executed, I was delighted to feature ARCHIVE RENTAL'S garden chair. This boutique and European-inspired chair brought our Tuscan vision to life! This venue is special because it provides exclusivity and the European flair that Southern California desires more of."
