Lindsey tells us, ééòI was so honored when Becca and Nicole asked me to design and style their Melange workshop! This full styled shoot took place on the first day at The Union on Eighth in Georgetown, Texas. As soon as I saw the venue, I knew I wanted to embrace it’s industrial charm. The building was so beautiful with its original wooden walls, high ceilings and windows that flooded natural light from every direction. The vision grew organically, starting with a modern, yet soft feel.

A patina coffee table jumpstarted the overall design and color palette of olive, coffee, gold, ivory and blush. I opted for a minimal tablescape using simple china and a mixture of ivory and caramel candles that stretched the entire length of the table. To pull in a softer feel, several yards of gauzy fabric were delicately hung from the ceiling and surrounded by soft candlelight. Detailed vignettes of shoes, florals, invitation suites and presents were simply styled to further enhance the organic modernism. I was so pleased how well the venue enhanced the shoot with it’s interesting architectural backdrops, reflected in the moody and romantic feel that encompassed this shoot.ééò
