I’ve been lusting over some of the gowns I’ve seen online recently from HOUGHTON, and you’ll see exactly why in this fun, modern shoot from ANGELA & EVAN PHOTOGRAPHY. Stylish, sexy and timeless gowns, they offer brides a fashionable yet non-traditional option for her wedding dayééò and they could definitely be worn again!
Angela & Evan said: ééòWhen we saw the dresses from Houghton Bride, we fell in love with each and every one! We’re talking jaws on the floor, eyes popping out of our head, nearly drooling… our favorites featured pink-to-ivory ombre lace, icy blue overlays, low backs, high slits, and crop tops!
The look of Houghton Bride is modern, edgy and sexy. In designing this shoot, we wanted to soften this look with hints of femininity and touches of romance, without straying too far from the original Houghton Bride style. We worked with solid color backdrops, pastel color panels and minimalist furniture pieces that allowed the intricate details, delicate textures, and bold silhouettes of the dresses to standout. Make-up was kept fresh with smokey eyes and pink lips. Hairstyles of messy low buns, side braids and soft waves complimented the character of each dress. Tess of JULY FLORAL DESIGN, created dreamy “levitating” floral garlands of eucalyptus branches and garden roses, heather clutch bouquets, airplant head wreathes, and an absolutely stunning garden rose headpiece. Her florals added just the right amount of organic beauty to this very chic shoot.ééò
