Italy is always one of the first places that come to mind when I think of destination weddings. Naturally planning from afar has it’s challenges, but that’s where THE KNOT IN ITALY come in. This boutique wedding planning company will guide you seamlessly through an incredible journey and ensure you have the best Italian food and wines, the most jaw-dropping views and most importantly that the wedding will reflect the beautiful surroundings you find yourselves in. Rather than try and replicate what you may do at home, they’ll infuse your day with meaningful Italian touches; the sounds of a mandolin, a white church on a steep hillside, Prosecco, and to top it all off a pizza party at midnight! Doesn’t get better than that right? They will pull together the best of the best to create your perfect Italian celebration.

Rossana from The Knot in Italy says; ééòWhen I met Cliff and Stephanie for the first time, I immediately realized that they were both crazy for Italy. Crazy for all what our incredible country can offer, from food and wines, to language. I spent an hour explaining the difference between a Trattoria and a Osteria… and I could see all the curiosity in his eyes. We travelled together for few days scouting venues from north to south. From Tuscany to Amalfi coast line and after lots of miles… we got it!
Isolated on the top of a hill, Ravello was the perfect setting for this incredibly romantic wedding. The little tiny square with the Cathedral overlooking the hills facing the Mediterranean was exactly what Cliff and Stephanie had always in their mind. Those of you that have had the pleasure of visiting the coast line, immediately notice that there’s something special on the tiny streets of Sorrento or on the white little shops in Positano, but there’s only one place that is so unique, coupling the sea and the mountains in one single amazing view: that’s Ravello with its glam, classy style. A timeless place only for Italy addicts.ééò
From the groom; ééòI cannot recommend Rossana our wedding planner from THE KNOT IN ITALY enough for your special day. We had a few different parts to the wedding. An initial aperitif in the square following our ceremony in the Duomo. We then headed to the Caruso (led by mandolin and guitar players arranged by Ro) where we had canap s and more aperitifs in the gardens at the Caruso. The weather was great ééò the food and drinks were exactly as we wanted it (and as tested) before we moved for our meal which was situated under the olive trees also in the Garden. The after dinner party was held around the pool area up a couple of levels and the lighting and spectacle of the pool made for a trendy nightclub feel. The Caruso presented our guests with many wow moments ééò especially the entrance to the garden and the arrival at the pool. It was a real experience just as we had had when we first visited all those months back. Rossana was extremely professional and detailed in the build-up. We really felt that no stone had been left unturned and she and her team were very methodical in their preparation. The service on the day was excellent ééò from the waiters, to the musicians, to Rossana ensuring everyone got on the buses at the right time and location right up until 2am. It must have been a long day work for her and great team!ééò
