So we finally had a day of rain yesterday. I can’t remember a time when we were ever more in need of it… especially in Auckland! It’s a brief reprieve however as the rest of the week more sunshine is forecast. Our already dry and brown lawn went through further upheaval yesterday when puppy Charlie decided to go a-digging! And not just a little hole, but a two meter long trench! Honestly I almost thought someone had come in and dug it up with a spade! I was somewhat astounded as she didn’t traipse any mud through the house so she obviously cleverly thought to clean her paws to somewhat hide the evidence! Naughty, naughty pup (although admittedly she got forgiven pretty quickly!).
This summery feeling board has me wanting to sit in a lovely garden sipping cocktails and soaking up the afternoon sun. How delicious and refreshing does that Sangria look?
