Earlier this year I had the privilege of heading to the beautiful Blue Mountains in Australia ééò the town of Blackheath to be exact ééò to style and speak at LEAH KUA’S No Greater Love workshop. It was a beautiful and inspiring few days spent with good food, great company and the crispness and beauty of the Blue Mountains in autumn. Honestly it’s SUCH a gorgeous area and if you ever have the chance to visit thereééò do it in the cooler months. It’s magical. LEAH put on a stunning workshop and I’m pretty sure all the attendees will have fond memories of the delicious cinnamon scented candles burning throughout the little cottage it was held in, amongst many other sweet details.
We did a couple of shoots as part of the workshop, one of which features in the current issue of MAGNOLIA ROUGE MAGAZINE. For this blog post I’ve combined the two shoots since they all tie in together. Huge thanks to our beautiful real couple models who were so gracious and patient and stood out in the cold for hours without complaint. SARAH LIM ééò who had travelled from Singapore ééò created an array of stunning florals, including the most amazing autumnal centrepiece for our tablescape which I’m still in love with! JENNIFER GIFFORD and KELSEY GENNA provided us some beautiful gowns, and from JENNIFER the sweetest little beaded bolero you ever did see. We used the prettiest veils and headpieces from THREE SUNBEAMS, and the hair & make-up was done by EVY’S BEAUTY PARLOUR who was actually one of our wonderful models. Lastly the amazing LAURA BLADE from New Zealand created a beautiful stationery suite for us.
