Planned by ADRN EVENTS, the day felt intentional without ever feeling overly styled — a celebration that invited guests to slow down, take in the surroundings, and experience the magic of the Pacific Northwest through a personal lens.

A Modern Love Story with a City Beginning
Shannon and Ben’s story began shortly after Shannon moved to Seattle, when a dating app match turned into a rooftop first date overlooking the city. Ben, a Seattle native, quickly became her guide — introducing her to his favorite neighborhoods, views, and hidden gems. From that first evening on, their connection felt easy and instinctive, rooted in shared curiosity and a growing sense of home together.
Their proposal was just as thoughtful. On an April evening in the Magnolia neighborhood, a casual sunset walk with their dog led to a quiet, emotional moment overlooking the Sound — followed by a surprise celebration back at their apartment with family and friends waiting inside.
Getting Ready with Heart and Ease
The morning of the wedding began at the Bellevue Club Hotel, where Shannon and her closest people gathered to get ready together. Early-2000s music videos played in the background as hair and makeup artist DELEANA GUERRERO and her team worked their magic, while mimosas, laughter, and bachelorette photos set a joyful tone for the day ahead.
Meanwhile, Ben enjoyed a slow, reflective morning of his own — waking up at home before sharing breakfast with his parents and grandparents. The contrast felt fitting: unhurried, meaningful, and grounded in family.

Shannon and Ben chose to share a first look on the front lawn of Fox Hollow Farm, the white façade of the house providing a timeless backdrop. It was the first time Ben saw Shannon’s dress and veil, and the quiet moment instantly eased their nerves.

A First Look Framed by Classic Architecture

It was the first time Ben saw Shannon’s dress and veil, and the quiet moment instantly eased their nerves. They exchanged a few words of encouragement before moving seamlessly into portraits, allowing them to be fully present when the ceremony began.
Fashion with Sentiment and Style
Shannon wore a sleek SARAH SEVEN gown from THE DRESS THEORY, paired with STUART WEITZMAN heels gifted by her mother-in-law and a delicate veil sourced on Etsy. Her accessories carried deep meaning — diamond earrings borrowed from her mother, later swapped for pearl Mejuri earrings and an Amanda Uprichard mini dress for dancing.
Ben’s look was equally thoughtful: a three-piece SUIT SUPPLY suit, Boss leather shoes, and a WWII-era Rolex gifted by Shannon’s father at the rehearsal dinner — a family heirloom that added quiet significance to the day.

Whimsical Florals in Blue and White
Florals by COLE BUYS DESIGN brought softness and movement to the setting, interpreting a blue-and-white palette in a way that felt organic rather than formal. Garden-style arrangements, textured blooms, and playful touches — from the escort table centerpiece to the flower crown for the flower girl — created a sense of whimsy that balanced the venue’s classic structure beautifully.
A Ceremony by the Creek
The ceremony took place beside the creek that winds through the property, its gentle sound acting as a natural soundtrack. As Shannon walked down the aisle to “Oh What a World” by Kacey Musgraves, with Gregory Alan Isakov’s “Amsterdam” setting the tone, guests were immersed in a moment that felt intimate and deeply personal.
A close friend officiated, weaving Shannon and Ben’s story into the ceremony, followed by readings from both sets of parents and heartfelt, succinct vows exchanged between the couple.

Cocktails, Connection, and Pacific Northwest Views
Cocktail hour unfolded on the front lawn, where guests enjoyed views of paragliders drifting across the sky — a uniquely Pacific Northwest detail. Signature drinks paid homage to the couple’s life together: a paloma named after their dog, Ruby, and an espresso martini inspired by Sleepless in Seattle. Guests mingled, enjoyed passed appetizers, and contributed to a photo guest book filled with Polaroids and handwritten notes.
Dinner Under the Stars and Dancing by Firelight
Dinner was served beneath a clear tent, with long communal tables fostering conversation and connection. The menu — featuring braised short rib, wild salmon, or vegetable torta — was followed by Oregon berry pies from the couple’s favorite local café, served warm with vanilla ice cream.
As night fell, guests were guided to the dance floor near the stables, where string lights, a fire pit, and a handmade bar — built and painted by Shannon and Ben themselves — set the stage for a lively celebration. With music by INTEGRAL DJ’S, heartfelt speeches, and dancing under the stars, the evening felt joyful, relaxed, and unmistakably personal.

A Honeymoon Worth the Wait
Just days after the wedding, Shannon and Ben set off on a 2.5-week honeymoon through Croatia and the Amalfi Coast — a dream trip that perfectly capped off a celebration rooted in love, intention, and adventure.
Shannon and Ben’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of what modern couples are embracing: timeless style paired with personality, meaningful details, and a deep connection to place. At Fox Hollow Farm, surrounded by mountains, water, and the people they love most, they created a day that felt effortlessly elegant — and entirely their own.
