This might very well be the coolest anniversary shoot I've ever featured! With a music album cover vibe about it, this shoot by TOBY EDWARDS PHOTOGRAPHY took place at the amazing San Xavier del Bac in Arizona. Read on to find out more about it from Toby.
"John and Natalie drove all the way out from Nashville, Tennessee! John is a singer-songwriter and has written songs for artist such as Jason Aldean, Dustin Lynch, Joe Nichols and Lone Star to name a few. Natalie is an Equestrian and spends as much time as she can with her horses. The both have a love of the outdoors and wide open spaces, so what better place to experience both than Arizona in the winter?
On their journey out west they traveled down old Route 66 stopping at every ghost town they could find. One of the great things about traveling through the old west is all the Native American artisans you find along the way. John and Natalie were in search of that perfect silver and turquoise piece to accent their style.
John and Natalie were looking for a unique location for their shoot that would really show off the authentic Southwest. I suggested San Xavier del Bac in Arizona which was the perfect location for this stylish duo. Located about 10 miles south of Tucson the mission is the oldest intact European structure in Arizona. It was built in 1797 and is in the process of being restored. The interior of the church is filled with fantastic original statues and mural painting, stepping into the church is like stepping back in time to the 18th Century!"
