If Hawaii is on your wedding destination list you're going to fall in love with this stunning Big Island celebration of Camille & David's by ALEX W PHOTOGRAPHY. Held at KAUPULEHU BEACH CLUB under late fall sunshine overlooking a black sand beach, it features tropical blooms paying homage to local plant life on the island, an abundance of fresh green and white decor details, and a beautiful gown by MALAN BRETON.

Alex tells us more about Camille & David's day, "We met Camille (cast member of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills)in the morning at her house where she and all of her bridesmaids got ready. RICARDO FERRISE provided hair and makeup, and Camille’s dear friend and designer MALAN BRETON created the gown that was waiting for us when we arrived. The gown was a two-piece with a detachable train and delicate floral details throughout.

The bouquets and floral design of the day paid homage to the local plant life on the island, boasting white and green accents and were primarily composed of orchids, palm leaves, and white sugarbush. Once Camille and the ladies were ready to head to the ceremony site, they took a quick spin around the neighbourhood in a vintage 1959 Bianchina that her matron-of-honour Rose let her borrow for the day.

David kept it classy and timeless with his attire, rocking a patterned cummerbund, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, and a black bowtie accompanied with a custom made MALAN BRETON jacket in white. His groomsmen all sported tuxedos with black slacks and white jackets- everyone looked like they were straight out of the Rat Pack."

"As
guests made their way to the entrance of the ceremony site they were greeted with white orchid leis and cocktails made with local ingredients. The ceremony site was located on a sprawling lawn of the KAUPULEHU BEACH CLUB overlooking the ocean and a volcanic black sand beach. What was so unique about the site was that the altar was fixed beneath an enormous structure adorned with palm fronds and encircled by clear chairs for the guests to view from all angles.

We quickly hurried down to the beach after the ceremony to capture the sunset and romantic portraits. Fortunately for us, we not only got the most beautiful photos juxtaposed with the most sublime sunset, but we also got to enjoy a rainbow in the background. We headed back to cocktail hour, afterward, to mingle with guests and capture family and bridal party photos.

Once the sun set, everyone headed inside the massive tent to start the reception’s festivities. Hundreds of garlands of local foliage and florals were seen throughout, exuding the tropical theme of the day. Guests enjoyed authentic Hawaiian dishes for dinner and Polynesian entertainment was provided throughout the night including ancient dances and fire spinning."
