Leslie & Bryan chose to get married at the end of autumn whilst the last of the seasons colour clung onto the trees and the ground was covered in a carpet of golden leaves. This wedding from ABIGAIL BOBO is a great example of timeless elegance combined with nature. Wanting the backdrop of their photos to be outdoors, luck was on their side when an abundance of yellow gingko leaves had dropped the night before and presented them with a vibrant walkway underneath the magnolia trees.

The gorgeous bride shares with us; ééòBryan and I’s faith has orchestrated our lives thus far and we each have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is our center and truly the reason the two of us love one another the way we do. We wanted our ceremony to be a time of worship and a time to thank and praise the author of our story. It was amazing having the opportunity to commit ourselves to one another and in turn, giving the Lord glory. We were able to do that with all our family and friends taking part.ééò

HOW DID YOU MEET? At our church, Judson Baptist in Nashville, TN. Bryan essentially grew up there, except for his brief time in school and graduate school at MTSU. He’s an accountant, I’m the untamed artistééò as Rocky would say, ééòwe fill gapsééòééò I had eventually followed my family to Nashville a couple years after graduating design school at Florida State in Tallahassee, FL. We met and the rest is historyééò

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: Bryan and I’s story was such a blessing. The song, Multiplied by Needtobreathe, was a song we viewed as a testament to our relationship and the way we felt the Lord had shaped it. So when Bryan proposed in the living room of my little house surrounded by candle light, the song played gently in the background. It was perfect. Intimate, sweet, and truly a time of worship and thankfulnessééò we cried and laughed, and couldn’t wait to experience marriage and life together.

TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR WEDDING DRESS: The first one I tried on. My mom cried. It was everything you imagine as a little girl.

ANY DIY ELEMENTS? Well, since I have a background in interior design and a passion for aesthetics, I couldn’t give up the reins of the event. Thankfully my mother, who is an artist herself, helped transform the space for the ceremony and reception. It was my dream from childhood to create an event so beautiful and personal and she helped make that a reality. Since the magnolias were in bloom in Nashville, we were able to forage from friends and neighbors. We covered the church the entire site in huge garlands of magnolias and balls of hydrangea. It was magical!

FAVOURITE DETAIL OF THE DAY: The many sweet, intimate moments with family, friends, and of course my groom.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOU A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Enjoy the once in a lifetime opportunity to express the things most important to the two of you

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT? My brother sang an arrangement of the song, Multiplied by Need to breathe, while our parents prayed over us at the end of the ceremony. It was a moment of worship I will never forget.
