With its elegant gardens, VILLA PARKER near Denver, Colorado made for a beautiful spot for Hillary and John for to celebrate their union. With help from the bride's sister who has an interest in design and planning, they created a celebration with an upscale garden vibe full of lush florals, a string quartet, and a sun-filled patio dinner reception. Denver Wedding Photographer MARY ANN CRADDOCK captured their beautiful images of the day.

The couple initially met whilst both working in a Colorado hospital and the proposal took place on a snowy, romantic Christmas Eve morning at their home. For their special day Hillary wore a JUSTIN ALEXANDER design, with beautiful off-the-shoulder lace sleeves. The tan lining allowed some depth to show through to give the dress a subtle pinkish glow underneath the lace. Buttons decorated the back and the sweetheart neckline accentuated Hillary's toned shoulders.

Cocktail hour included appetisers and drinks in the courtyard of the villa. Cafe au lait dahlias and toffee roses, amongst eucalyptus and pink ranunculus, decorated the aisles in white pedestal vases. The greenery complemented the natural vines growing up and around the walls of Villa Parker. The centerpieces on each table included the beautiful florals topping gold low pedestal vases. The white three-tier wedding cake by CAKEHEADS BAKERY was beautifully simplistic. With a slightly diagonal design, it was adorned with a few coordinating florals including roses, ranunculus, and scabiosa. 5280 QUARTET played a wonderful variety of music for both the pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour.

MARY ANN tells us, "One of my favourite details was the bookcase, made by Hillary's sister Ashley. Each book spine showcased a guest's name and their table number. It was also topped with a lovely floral arrangement. Since both Ashley and Hillary have Native American ancestry, they included a smudging ritual during the ceremony which added a beautifully personal touch"
