Megan and Ted may have gotten engaged in London but they tied the knot at MAGNOLIA PLANTATION in Charleston, SC in a show stopping affair fabulously styled by HALEY KELLY EVENTS. The centerpieces by BLOOM BAY speak for themselves for this reception look. The cascading of the gorgeous oak trees made for a ceremony out of a story line from Nicholas Sparks and had everyone in awe the entire day! The Bride wore a gorgeous BERTA gown and was an absolute radiant beauty! The party continued under a tent on the lawn, the couple both wanted a band and a DJ so they split the time. The band played for the beginning of the reception and a DJ finished it out, giving them the best of both worlds! DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS: Our wedding flowers were all white with some greens. We kept things fairly modern with marble or black containers and mostly floral and not a lot of lush greens. We did have two statement arrangements as guests walked into the tent as well as custom built trees that were full of lush greenery and added height to the space!
WHAT ASPECT OF THE WEDDING WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU BOTH? When planning the wedding we realised that one person really wanted a band and one wanted a DJ so we opted to have both and that was an amazing decision! The band played for about 2 ½ hours and the DJ played the last hour.
