You have to admit eloping to Italy – Tuscany to be precise – sounds like one of the most romantic ways to get married right? VILLA MEDICEA DI LILLIANO set the stage for this al fresco elopement inspiration captured by ROBERTA FACCHINI PHOTOGRAPHY and styled by NATALIA MUSIC WEDDINGS.

Natalia sets the scene for us, “The well kept garden with its lemon trees, overgrown peony bushes, antique roses and aromatic herbs in full splendor welcomed our couple to share their most intimate and important moments together in a private symbolic wedding ceremony. Choosing to elope to Tuscany – the land of timeless beauty both past and present – meant getting immersed in nature and finding peace away from the rush of their daily lives. The views around the villa literally took their breath away. Mesmerized by the beauty of this garden we decided to adorn their wedding ceremony with most delicate flowers and colours; chamomile, white lilac, olive branches, ammi casablanca, feather like pampas, white ranunculus and roses. A suspended floral arch was created in front of the fountain to give a contemporary touch to their ceremony at the end of a walkway of potted lemon trees. Our bride Lucy wore a pure white bridal gown with fine crochet top by MARIANNA LANZILLI, ready for the romantic first look – such a perfect way to start off married life. A delicate veil and sophisticated handmade accessories from SIBO DESIGNS added the perfect finishing touches, and flowers native to the spring season in Tuscany shined in her bridal bouquet. A stylishly laid table, where the two light grey linen runners met in a knot with glassware and ceramic plates made by artisans from the region, was set in the garden near the Villa, where the newlyweds enjoyed the spectacular views over the Florentine hills. We used tiny glass bottles filled with olive oil as place names, to bring a warm touch to the cool colour palette of the table.
