Southern Grace and Garden Glamour at Barnsley Resort

Surrounded by nature, history, and thoughtful details, this Georgia celebration brought timeless romance to life. From garden-inspired florals to a Waffle House surprise, every element reflected personality, style, and pure Southern charm.

Jennifer and Peyton’s wedding at the scenic BARNSLEY RESORT, captured by LEAH MARGULIES, was the perfect blend of timeless elegance, Southern charm, and lush garden romance. Surrounded by the peaceful beauty of nature and a thoughtful design filled with florals, their day was a dream come to life.

Introduced by a mutual friend on a night out in Nashville’s buzzing Broadway district, Jennifer and Peyton’s connection was instant. That spark eventually led them across the world to Florence, Italy, where Peyton planned the most romantic proposal. After carrying the ring through the entire trip, he waited until the very last night to propose—on a rooftop terrace with the Basilica as their backdrop. Champagne and a candlelit dinner followed, setting the tone for a lifetime of love and unforgettable moments.

A Ceremony Filled with Meaning

Set in the garden, the ceremony was rich with emotional moments. A light sprinkle of rain just before the processional added a bit of suspense, but it held off at just the right time. Jennifer’s walk down a winding rose-lined aisle with her father was a moment she’ll treasure forever. Surrounded by loved ones and framed by lush florals, Jennifer and Peyton exchanged vows in a setting that felt both sacred and magical.

I’d say that I am fairly classic bride. I knew in general what I wanted, but Sara’s creativity and expertise just elevated the whole experience.

A Classic Bride with a Garden Vision

Jennifer’s classic bridal style was a natural fit for Barnsley’s garden setting. Her ANNE BARGE gown from THE WHITE ROOM in Birmingham was elegant and timeless. The boutique, run by the warm and talented mother-daughter duo Carolyn and Cathy, made the dress shopping and alteration process smooth and enjoyable—even from out of state. Peyton opted for a classic tuxedo, keeping things traditional and sleek with a rented suit, per the playful advice of their friends and family.

The bridal party prep was surprisingly calm—despite a brief morning rain that had Jennifer’s dad lobbying to move the ceremony indoors. Thankfully, planner Sara Fried of FÊTE NASHVILLE knew just how to navigate the weather and kept everything beautifully on track.

An Elegant Reception in Bloom

The floral design by BLOSM DESIGN truly stole the show. A hanging wisteria installation transformed the Pavilion into a romantic wonderland, while greenery and white blooms carried the garden theme through every detail. Jennifer described the florals as her favorite part of the wedding—second only to marrying Peyton.

Guests sipped margaritas with tuxedo salt during cocktail hour at the Manor House Ruins before transitioning seamlessly into the reception. The evening flowed effortlessly thanks to FÊTE NASHVILLE’S meticulous planning and vision.

Custom details like a tuxedo-salt-rimmed signature drink, a surprise Waffle House food truck, and a gorgeous sit-down dinner made the night feel uniquely theirs. The energy on the dance floor was electric thanks to the Atlanta Party Fanatics, who kept guests dancing late into the night.

A Sweet Ending—and a Sweet Escape

For the perfect late-night bite, Jennifer surprised Peyton with a Waffle House truck—his absolute favorite. It was a moment of joy, laughter, and the perfect ending to a day filled with love.

After the celebrations, the newlyweds jetted off to Aruba where they stayed in an overwater bungalow at the serene Aruba Ocean Villas. With ocean views, incredible food, and pure relaxation, it was the perfect beginning to their next chapter.

Jennifer and Peyton’s wedding was a heartfelt celebration full of intentional moments, stunning design, and joyful memories—captured beautifully by LEAH MARGULIES. It was a day where classic elegance met modern romance, and where every detail told a piece of their story.
