Manni and Carlos are from China however they decided to get marry in Tuscany for the sheer beauty of the landscape and its history. Wanting someone to not only capture their day, but also help with the decisions that gives an event a cohesive, stylish and sophisticated look, Manni enlisted the talented Chiara from Tuscan wedding planner WEDDINGS IN TUSCANY who helped the couple create a unique atmosphere and visual aesthetic for their wedding. They held the wedding at LA SUVERA, a boutique hotel surrounded by lush gardens and a splendid church, stables and farmhouse – all oozing with historic atmosphere and charm. They had the incredible TAYLOR & PORTER capture the beautiful celebration. It looks like the wedding day turned out just as amazing as Manni pictured in her mind.
HOW DID YOU MEET? We met in London where we were studying at Imperial College London.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: It was also in Italy in Bolzano in Nov 2017. He proposed in the Christmas Market.
TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR WEDDING DRESS: I found it from HK local boutique. I have two dresses, Annasul Y (for ceremony), Atelier Lyanna (for dinner).
DID YOU HAVE ANY DIY ELEMENTS? The dinner table deco and layout, choice of flowers, music.
FAVOURITE DETAIL OF THE DAY: It has been showering during the afternoons in the week of our wedding day, but it only drizzled on our special day. We were really lucky to have a lot of people taking care of whole event so as it went smoothly. It was unique and intimate, every guest was amazed and said it’s so memorable. Carlos and I had the most perfect wedding we could imagine.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OUT TO A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Pick the one you have a strong feeling you will enjoy the most for the special day. Plan in advance, at least 8 months ahead. Get more involved with the planning, it’s fun!
