Santa Ynez Anniversary Session

That JEN HUANG is one clever chicken! To celebrate the launch of her new website which is not only about her photography, but her artwork we are showcasing this beautiful engagement shoot from the Santa Ynez Valley. Her work is utterly mesmerising, and the way she captures light is nothing short of magical. Images like this make me SO excited about our WORKSHOP next year! Anniversary shoots are such a great way to celebrate your relationship and document a passage in time, as this gorgeous couple below explain.

During the entire length of our relationship, one or both of us have been in school. We met and started dating in college, dated through my grad program and got married while David was in the middle of medical school. An anniversary shoot was the perfect way for us to celebrate our two years of marriage and also David completing four hard years of medical school and finally becoming a doctor! We also thought that it would be a nice heirloom for our future family since both of us have always cherished the photos we have of our parents and grandparents in their younger days. For us, these photos will serve as a reminder for us of how much we’ve been through together, how blessed we’ve been through it all, and how much more we have to look forward to.”
