We're switching things up a bit today with this moody editorial by NICOLE LAPIERRE PHOTOGRAPHY from a workshop hosted by JOY WED. As I sit writing this in the middle of a crazy thunder and rain storm the warm coziness of these images is very inviting and that divine candlelit table looks perfect!
"We were destined to meet no matter the distance, we return to each other again and again. It's that once in a lifetime connection, the ones that make you feel more alive just sitting next to them; even the silence is comfortable because you feel more complete in their presence. I don' know what it is about him…only that when I look into his eyes I see a reflection of my soul staring back at me." – n.r hart
Stylist STACEY FOLEY DESIGN tells us; "Inspired by classic romance, love that waited decades to find each other. Love that spanned the oceans, traveled the countryside and found it's way to the other side of the world simply to be together. Long lasting love, the kind that we dream of now and can only image back then.
The stunning architecture of the FAIRMONT BANFF SPRINGS HOTEL became a key component to the inspiration of this workshop and editorial. The texture and mood of the space inspired the dark and dramatic gown from Sweet Caroline and the dark moody tones of the organic florals by FLEURISH FLOWER SHOP. NICOLE LAPIERRE PHOTOGRAPHY did an exquisite job of capturing these elements with a light softness that allowed the design to feel both feminine and romantic. I wanted to create a space that evoked emotion and inspired brides with a non-traditional approach to their wedding day."
