Inspired by leather, masculinity and straight lines (seen in the architecture of the venue as well as the tablesettings), this shoot by Charleston wedding photographer CLAY AUSTIN takes place at the WILLIAM AIKEN HOUSE in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. One of my favourite details… the sweet paper goods by BLISS AND BONE.
Stylist HALEY KELLY EVENTS tells us, “The William Aiken House was an ideal backdrop with the deep yellow walls and the dark details in the carriage house lot which is rarely seen as the perfect space for a seated dinner. The leather details donned the welcome gifts, boutonniere wraps, invitation and menus. I was really inspired by a tasting menu at Quince restaurant in San Francisco for the black wine glasses. It offers a surprise elements to guests on what amazing pairing they have with each course.”
A huge thank-you to Charleston wedding photographer CLAY AUSTIN for sharing this beautiful wedding inspiration with us today. Clay is a firm believer in true love, and documents it in its most raw and authentic form as these images attest to. "Shooting film allows me to be completely in the moment, patiently waiting for windows of honesty and those sparks that make each couple unique. It gives me overwhelming joy to provide my clients a way to relive such a meaningful occasion for the rest of their lives!"
