The colours that nature provides us with in the autumn months are truly heavenly aren’t they? And although we see them every year, I feel like each time the season rolls around we’re once again in awe of the masterclass that Mother Nature puts onééò and it’s certainly on display in this debut styled shoot from South African based Lucia of D’amor Photography. I think she’s done an amazing job of it!
ééòThe idea behind the shoot was to embrace the rich, decadent colours that only autumn can produce and create a styled shoot that would showcase just how stylish and striking these colours can be when used in a creative way. We decided to give the shoot two sides, the main focus was using the autumn colours and with the second side we incorporated a lot of whites, while still making use of some autumn elements.ééò
Unbeknownst to the Carla ééò the model, her boyfriend had arranged with Lucia to propose to her at the beginning of the shoot, so it turned from a styled shoot to a very romantic surprise proposal that was entirely documented ééò and ever so beautifully of course!
