Lake Como is undoubtedly one of the most romantic places on earth. From the grandeur of the mountains surrounding it to the serenity of the grey-blue waters it is truly a breathtaking and magical place. The styling of this shoot captured by GIANLUCA ADOVASIO was inspired by the Pantone colour of the year, Living Coral. Stylist and planner STORYBOOK WEDDINGS & EVENTS wanted to embrace the nature and colour palette around the lake but also infuse it with pops of colour ensuring a playful outcome, reminiscent of Italy in spring.

"The incredible floral hoop installation was created by with blush, peach, coral, butterscotch yellows, wheat, and a variety of shades of greens. It was organic yet bloom heavy with pampas grass, garden roses, ranunculus, peonies, blush hydrangeas, dahlias, and eucalyptus. Federico with LILLA FLORAL DESIGN captured the our vision for the couple perfectly as it framed them during their exchange of vows and created an intimate feel. The floral recipe continue throughout Regina's stunning, overgrown bouquet and eclectic table design featuring some beautiful pieces from TABLESET RENTALS. We played with texture and pattern to create a fun and whimsical tablescape.

The bride wore two different looks. First a long sleeve, vintage J. MENDEL for the ceremony and then a two piece ANNA GEORGINA for their reception and romantic boat ride on the lake with just the two of them. The bride had a very soft and natural look for her hair and make-up with soft waves and matte tones by TATIANA HAIR & MAKEUP. The groom wore a custom navy blue tuxedo with black lapels by The Wedding GPS.

The venue VILLA MONASTERO PAX is located on the western side of Lake Como in the city of Lenno. The city itself is perfectly quaint and Italian. With the stone garden statues, small fountains, ivy covered walls, an ornate entrance gate and panoramic lake view you cannot help but fall in love."
