We are starting off the week with a truly stunning coastal shoot from Australia. Inspired by love that stands the test of time and distance, this stunning editorial shoot by LENA LIM was envisioned to create a style that is timeless, ethereal, intimate, and wildly romantic. Taking place at Point Addis Beach, in Victoria, Australia, the minimalist, intimate table set up against the vast, clean and calm backdrop made for the perfect setting. Working with gown designer WINONA & CO and stylist JCAU EVENTS, soft blush tones were incorporated throughout to infuse a romantic touch to this classic theme. From the location to the finer details, including the blush couture gown, the exquisite asymmetrical bouquet by BASIA PUCHALSKI and the hand lettered stationery, it all creates a cohesive and dreamy yet modern inspiration story for the fine art bride..

The gown designer WINONA & CO. tells us, "The concept of the shoot was born when I designed the gown, as I thought about the occasion for the gown and the story of the woman who’d be wearing it. I imagined this gown would be worn by a princess, who waited by the sea for her lover to come home from war. He came back and proposed to her. They shared a short romantic beautiful moment together, before he had to go away again. It is classic and helplessly romantic. I envisioned depicting this classic long distance love story in a modern way. The gown was made of layers of blush and skin toned tulle and organza, with sparkly fine laces intertwined in its ruching, to create a feminine, romantic, light and dreamy look and feel.

I shared this vision with LENA, who’s known for producing fine-art, clean and simple classic images in Melbourne. Fortunately, not only she was on-board as the photographer, we further developed the concept together, gathered the other talented vendors to create this vision into reality."
