How amazing are the pink toned walls of this luxury country retreat in the historic township of Wollombi in the Hunter Valley? They make for the perfect backdrop to this wedding editorial beautifully captured by Sydney wedding photographer ZELDA GREEN and produced by ENGAGED CREATIVE.
After months of Covid related restrictions put most destination weddings on hold, this New South Wales creative team came together in the spring to work on this elegant shoot with a style that is sure to inspire with details that are both classic and modern. The bride wears elegant gowns by KAREN WILLIS HOLMES, ELLA MODA, and MARIANA HARDWICK, the latter complete with a beautiful bow detail on the back. Green, white and pink toned florals by TWO WILD HANDS complemented the walls of the villa and set the stage for a romantic and intimate ceremony and reception.
The grooms textured black jacket by BRENT WILSON provided a subtle yet stylish point of difference for the groom, whilst a champagne tower created an added touch of luxury and delight. With so many couples have to pivot from their planned destination weddings, this is the perfect inspiration for how to re-create the look you want a little closer to home.
A big thank you to Sydney wedding photographer ZELDA GREEN for sharing this divine wedding inspiration with us. It was Zelda's love of travel and explorations into photojournalism that began her journey into photography. This is where she discovered a taste for adventure and deep desire to capture the beauty and wonder of this world and the people in it. Weddings are the perfect mix of all that she loves to capture – human connection first and foremost, coupled with elements of fashion, documentary, landscape and still life. She brings a timeless, joyful and light-filled aesthetic to her work that is full of fresh tones and true to life colour that will never go out of style. Check out more of her portfolio here.
