The inspiration for this ethereal editorial by Los Angeles Wedding photographer SAVAN PHOTOGRAPHY, stemmed from the 1875 classic ballet, Swan Lake, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsk. Savan – who teamed up with planner & stylist AMORETTE EVENTS – says, "We wanted to invoke the elegance and beauty of the swan princess (and later queen), Odette."
MILAGRO WINERY was the backdrop for the shoot, complete with its Italian charm and lake. For the first look, the ballerina bride wore a JINZA BRIDAL gown, simple in design but its ethereal material allowed her to gracefully pirouette along the lake. Afterward, the bride transforms into the swan queen, wearing a full gown, reflecting her change. DANIELLE RYAN BEAUTY enhanced her transformation, starting her off with soft, innocent make-up and a clean and romantic up-do and then going with a more dramatic, soft and mature look. Throughout the shoot Southern California florist OAK & AMBLE created stunningly lush florals, with an oversized bouquet in fresh whites paired with plenty of greenery and likewise for the table centrepiece which aimed to enhance the Italian vibe of the venue, yet also keep with the ethereal feel of the ballet. They also incorporated gold accents for a delicate touch, courtesy of CHERISHED RENTALS, and wooden chairs from SWEET SALVAGE RENTALS to further the Italian feel. MICHELLE RENEE CALLIGRAPHY created name scrolls to complete the look.

Southern California florist OAK & AMBLE has a style that is lush, natural and romantic. Owner Erin likes to take cues from nature when designing and she excels at utilising colour theory when selecting blooms. By drawing out subtle hues in the veins of leaves starting to change with the seasons or even reflexing petals to show how a flower variegates from one shade to the next, she can help expand and elevate a simple colour palette to one with depth and dimension.
