This beautiful Provence wedding by GREG FINCK has the prettiest reception and table set-up we've seen in some time! Wedding planner NOMAD REPUBLIC teamed up with stylist AMOROLOGY to create this romantic vision in tones of blush, sage and a deeper burgundy red. Guest experience and design were important factors to Nicole & Michael – an Australian couple living in Hong Kong who dreamt of a destination wedding in the South of France so they could spend quality time with family and friends at the same time – and the wedding featured the most incredible florals by LAETITIA C. FLEURS D'ATELIER – including an incredible suspended floral installation over the head table. DOMAINE 1784 LOURMARIN proved to be a beautiful venue for this destination wedding.
NOMAD REPUBLIC tell us, "Playing to the existing scenery Nicole & Michael used the villa stone wall as a backdrop for their ceremony where greenery and fresh florals were tucked in by LAETITIA C. FLEURS D'ATELIER. When it came time to exchange rings, in lieu of the traditional, Nicole opted to give Michael a special wristwatch, as a reminder of their time spent together and the time to come. At the conclusion of their ceremony and following the kiss, guests tossed paper airplanes they had folded down the aisle to wish them on their way, giving a nod to Michael's career as a pilot that takes both he and Nicole to destinations around the world together.
During cocktail hour guests were led to a champagne table accented with floating blooms. As they sipped on their drinks, they were invited to leave the couple destination date ideas across the globe, anywhere from Croatia to Cambodia to Cape Verde to Cuba!
Following cocktail hour, Amorology gave guests a place to land for dinner with vintage wood model plane propellers that they gathered and had calligraphed with guest names and seating assignments. Table numbers were tied to vintage crystal decanters and guests dined at long family style wood dining tables below strung market lighting. For the head table a suspended gorgeous floral installation was created with hanging candles. Plates sat below on wood acacia chargers with peach edged napkins and plane-motif menus held in place by pink Himalayan rock salt. Guests were favored to individual olive oil and truffle oil bottles tied with their names that sat at their place settings and doubled as place cards. After dinner a "pour decisions" self-pour gin & whiskey bar opened and the guests continued to dance the night away keeping their spirits high!
