Well good morning! I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and are ready for a great inspiring week here on Magnolia Rouge! I swear we’ve had a solid month of rain – and this coming week doesn’t look any different – so I’m trying to make the most of it and be productive when the weather is miserable and get ahead with my work load since I have another few weeks away coming up. It’s lucky I’m quite the homebody (aside from travelling of course!) and am quite happy to chill out at home over the weekends – especially when I have my people and pups around as well!

We’re starting off the week with a beautiful boudoir shoot by one of my favourite gals CHARLA STOREY (who just happened to get engaged in Paris last week – congratulations Charla & Jesse!). Styled by another of our fabulous vendors LINDSEY BRUNK the model wears a delicate blue lace set from CLAIRE PETTIBONE HEIRLOOM paired with a whimsical floor length robe by GIRL AND A SERIOUS DREAM.

Lindsey tells us, “Boudoir sessions are a wonderful way for brides to be to feel confident and comfortable in their skin. I love the idea of a bride setting aside a bit of time on the morning of the wedding for a short boudoir session to really soak in the morning and feel beautiful. TRACY MELTON ARTISTRY gave our bride barely-there curls and fresh-faced makeup to highlight her natural beauty. Using the gorgeous light and unique backdrop of the Institute, Charla captured everything wonderfully to reflect our peaceful and romantic vision.
